I wish to bring to your immediate attention that the site in question is not currently in operation, as well as explain to you why. The organization in question is not truly the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. They have in fact no direct or indirect connection to the authentic Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn whatsoever. They have rather caused an enormous amount of public confusion by posing as such while launching an aggressive marketing campaign over the Internet. I therefore would like to request that you immediately update your link so that it links to a site of the authentic Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn which may be located at: http:www.golden-dawn.com I know that the difference (between .org and .com) may not immediately be obvious to you, but it is an extremely significant one, since the Fontana organization further added to public confusion by registering a domain name confusingly similar to our own. Authentic Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn Temples may presently easily be identified by their use of the Trademark ® symbol. The legitimate Temples were forced to register as trademarks the names associated with our venerable Order due to the unethical and in certain instances likely illegal behavior of the Fontana organization (http:www.golden-dawn.org). Among the violations of the traditions of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn by the Fontana Organization were the sale of purely "Astral Initiations" over the Internet. This consisted fo charging significant sums of money, merely to instruct naive individuals to meditate at a set time while a ritual was performed half a world away. Legitimate Temples everywhere condemn this practice as misleading and fraudulent. Furthermore, there have been frequent documented instances of people having paid for goods or services that were never delivered by the Fontana org. The reputation ot the real Order was being seriously damaged by such behaviour, as well as other cult-like activities of the Fontana org. Due to legal actions filed on behalf of the legitimate Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, the Fontana organization has agreed to change their name so as to no longer confuse the public. Further action is presently being filed with interNIC to have their domain name registration (golden-dawn.org) canceled, since this has added significantly to the confusion. I would like to personally and sincerely request that you update the link on your site, so that it links to the authentic Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn rather that to the no longer available site of the impostors.
