NOTE: remember that a review says more about the reviewer than about the thing being reviewed...
Here's my own subject system for grading stuff. Note these are my own personal biases/prejudices! My biases embrace the academic, intellectual, pragmatic, and perhaps even elitist and reject the emotional, the helpless/hopeless, and faulty logic. At least I know what my blindspots are.

Five mice. My highest recommendation. Excellent, wonderful, a work of marvelous maturity and worth. If I had no money I would pawn something to get this. People are tired of hearing me rant about it.
-
Four mice. Highly recommended. I've already recommended it to several people.
-
Three mice. Solid work; I recommend it. Certainly worth looking at.
-
Two mice. Recommended only for the curious. Doesn't work for me, but might for you. Who knows.
-
One mouse. I recommend against it. Useless for my needs. I wouldn't own it even if it were a gift.
