How I eat popcorn

This is a description of my popcorn-eating ritual. I'm learning how to use the flash and macro, so forgive the exposure levels.
Here is an example of the popcorn in its natural state. These are cheese-flavored (which I don't prefer, but were handy today)
Here is the domesticated popcorn, nibbled to remove the irregularizing bumps, etc. Only the underlying, formal kernal is left. It's popcorny sphereishness shows through. I am reminded of how Michealangelo could see statues trapped in marble; I see spheres trapped in the wild popcorn.
Now the perfected balls are put to use; I stack them into a conical/pyramidal shape. This is the defining moment of the ritual: the creation of this structure. The project is complete when no more popcorn balls can be stacked without falling off.

It's foodie lego, or maybe an expression of the gnostic yearning of a starchy food for its highest expression.

This final step is optional, but it's interesting in its own right. Popcorn can be retrieved by sticking your tongue out: the popcorn will shrink a bit, effectively sticking to your tongue. This is done one piece at a time. To capture many at once is gauche.
The problem is this: you can't pick up the plate with the popcorn cone (popcone?) or they will fall. So you have to get down to plate level and do the tongue thing from there.

Selection

Do you select the popcorn in any particular order?
Nope, just one after another out of the bag. This is a notable change from how I eat Cheetohs.

Stacking

What is that black thing the balls are stacked on?
It's a teacup saucer, especially desirable because the indentation for the cup makes a wonderful recess for popcorn stacking projects. It limits the diameter, and thereby the height, of the popcone.

Miscellaneous

Do you do this at the movies?
No, because no stacking platform is easily available.
