Course description

This course covers advanced uses of the Internet. If you have become comfortable with using E-Mail and an Internet Browser, you are ready to take the next step to broaden your knowledge in the many uses of the telecommunications marvel. Topics include E-Mail Administration, List Servers, CGE, Perl, JAVA, Images, Multimedia, Plug-Ins, Network Archecture, Security, and more. This class may be taken before or after HTML Web Page Publishing. The textbook --"Teach Yourself Web Publishing" (Author: Laura Lemay; Publisher: Sams Net) -- may be purchased at the College bookstore prior to attending class. Please bring two 3-1/2" high density diskettes to class.
