"Jason spent scads of time with me, fixing technical glitches that really
had nothing to do with the hosting of our site," says Crowe. "I just
can't say enough good things about [Cyberline]. Its people work hard,
care about their clients, send out weekly email newsletters, and have
always been there when there's a problem--even when it was I problem
that I caused!"

DBJ: What's the No. 1 thing to keep in mind when deciding what
technology to use to solve a business problem?
jc: People who like technology may throw technical solutions

and understand my desired outcome. Very rarely is technology itself an
answer.

Here are two large-format postcards from Cyberline's direct mail campaign:

- Virtual Domain: Why can't computer people just speak English?"
- there was a third version, too, but I don't remember what it was!

jason carr interviewed about Penny University BBS, which provides free email and echomail. Circa 1990. clipping
